High Viscosity, hydrating and thick body lotion base made with sunflower seed oil that is naturally rich in Vitamin E. Lotion base is a finished product and ready for use, with the option of formulating in your preferred additives such as coloring, fragrance or essential oils to give off a desired aroma.
Our lotion base is an attractive ingredient when formulating unique lotions, as it is gentle with various skin types and does not contain phthalates. This low viscosity lotion base is thinner than the high viscosity variety and will pour from your desired packaging or bottle. It is white in appearance with a light texture and is easily absorbed into the skin. It works well in various bottles and pump dispensers allowing for an array of repackaging options. Low viscosity lotion is more commonly used throughout the summer months when the moisture in the air is greater. Lotion base is used throughout the cosmetic industry in a multitude of body lotions and is a popular foundation for many of the well-known brands on the market.
You can add any extracts, fragrances, essential oils and lightening agents of your choice to this base (1 - 2%)
Fragrance oils and essential oils can be added at 1%
Carrier oils can be added to this base at 3% - 5%
