Actives and natural skin lightening powders

Please note the following :

 

  • when dissolving kojic acid, snow-white powder, sepi white powder or sym white powder - heat up your propylene glycol to 40 - 50 degrees before adding the powder - these powders require heat in order to dissolve well into a clear solution before adding it to your creams or product bases

 

  • When dissolving any of the following powders: Alpha arbutin, Giga white, Kojic acid, niacinamide, white licorice powder, or collagen -

heat up your water to 40 - 50 degrees before adding the powder to ensure it dissolves well into a clear solution before adding it to your creams or product bases

 

To work out how much powder you need for your product base times the usage percentage by the weight of your base e.g you want to make a kojic acid lotion, your lotion base is 500 grams, the kojic acid usage rate is 3 - 5%, so it will be 3% x 500 grams of lotion base

The total amount of powder needed is 15 grams
