Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a mild amphoteric surfactant derived from coconut oil. Suitable for formulating shampoos, body wash, baby wash, and other products. It has great foam properties with rich, thick lather, It is a surfactant that breaks the surface tension in water, loosens dirt, then rinses it away. It’s also useful for creating thicker, more luxurious-feeling formulas.
It can be used as the main or primary surfactant for products for babies, dry and/or sensitive skin, it can also be used in products that do not require rinsing such as micellar waters or make-up remover wipes.
